I have to agree with you. I wish you were wrong but unless someone is raised up and blessed with countering our nations decline we will stay on the road we are on.
Well, the only one I know of that is trying is Ted Cruz. He has a great knowledge and love of the Constitution and stands up mostly for what he believes in.
Or at least he tries to, which is more than I can say for 99% of the rest of Congress.
Considering he had a democrat controlled congress and Tip O'Neill to deal with, he did amazingly well.
Probably the last of the true statesman this country has ever known.
