It was a very loud and noisy neighborhood last night. I suspect that the neighbors made a pilgrimage north just over the river to Vancouver WA. That is where some of the best 4th of July bang for your buck can be found. Oregon has gone so tame with what they allow, that the huge fireworks dealer in Vancouver gets buyers from all over the Northwest.
The displays were very colorful and properly noisy. If the cats are all hiding under the desk because of the noise, you know you are successful in your task. 4th of July usually lasts for about 3-4 days around here, so I am anticipating more celebratory noise tonight too.
I sure hope everyone here had a great 4th this year. May everyone continue to have a safe weekend and rest of the year.
