A Marine squad was marching north of Fallujah when they came upon an Iraqi terrorist who was badly injured and unconscious.
On the opposite side of the road was an American Marine in a similar but less serious state.
The Marine was conscious and alert and as first aid was given to both men, the squad leader asked the injured Marine what had happened.
The Marine reported, “I was heavily armed and moving north along the highway here, and coming south was a heavily armed insurgent. We saw each other and both took cover in the ditches along the road.
“I yelled to him that Saddam Hussein was a miserable, lowlife scum bag who got what he deserved. And he yelled back that Barack Obama is a lying, good-for-nothing communist who isn’t even an American.
So I said that Ahmadinejad acts and dresses like a frigid, mean-spirited lesbian! He retaliated by yelling, Oh yeah? Well, so does Nancy Pelosi!
And, there we were, in the middle of the road, shaking hands, when a truck hit us.”
Good one!
ReplyDeleteRes,
ReplyDeleteDon't know if you've seen Nate's blog yet, but he is asking for prayers for Outlaw X. Evidently Outlaw got some very bad health news. Nate did not say, but I thought I would pass this along.
Thanks Susan. I just started my surf'n I'll go there next.
ReplyDeletePrior to Nate's request, Outlaw had mentioned in 'our corner' of the blog-o-sphere that 1 of his kidneys had shut down.
ReplyDeleteSusan, You had made a comment over at Vox's that I wanted to respond to, but hadn't . Now I forget your comment, but wanted to mention to you a Paul Harvey, The Rest of the Story about Hitler. Towards the end of the war Hitler would wake in the night screaming "He's here, he's here" and point in the corner, as his shrieks broke down from German into a harsh garbled language sounding thing. He went through a number of psychiatrists, all of which lost their sanity trying to cure Hitler. I've never heard this story anywhere else, but I don't doubt it.
