That's something we hear now and again. Well I for one have some proposed verbiage for a law:
"Whereas the United States Congress and the President have failed to pass a budget for the governance of the United States for the last four years; and in absence of said budget the executive branch has spent a sum in excess of 1 Billion dollars per year for the maintenance of the first family, and none of those expenditures were lawfully approved by the people of the United States: be it resolved that Barrack and Michelle Obama shall be required to repay to the Treasury of the United States all expenditures for travel, vacations, recreational activities and other such expenses not associated with the maintenance of the first family while residing in the Presidential Mansion.
The Internal Revenue Service is authorized to, seize all assets, and/or garnishee all wages, pensions, royalties, rents and any other source of income; as well as place tax liens against all properties owned by the Obama's until such a time as the debt has been repaid in full. This recovery action shall take priority over all other creditors or debts."Of course it won't get passed, but we can dream.
