All in the Family featured the curmudgeonly Archie Bunker. Archie was television’s most famous grouch, blunt, blustering, straightforward and untouched by the PC crowd. He was the archetype of the conservative male. Michael desprately tried to reeducate him, but he persisted in his breviloquence.

Looking back at the last 40 years, we realize: ARCHIE WAS RIGHT!

Truth Comes Out

Remember that story that came out last week?  The one with the lawmaker holding the AK-47 in the Virginia State House, begging them to outlaw all those big scary guns.  As it turns out, Mr. Joseph Morrissey need to be told to get his thumb off the trigger (a basic safety skill, mastered by 12 year old boys in hunters safety class).  It seems Mr. Morrissey used to be a lawyer.  He's not now, because he lost his law license.  He lost that license for a number of reasons, helping out rapists who had extra cash to spread around, circumventing the law as a prosecutor to illegally arrest people, and being a violent criminal himself.
According to legal brief filed by the victim’s attorneys, Morrissey shouted, “I’m going to kill you. I’m going to beat your head in,” before beating the victim and “smash[ing] his head into the corner of a brick wall.”

How is it that a disbarred criminal with a history of violence comes to be in possession of any firearm?  According to the story he borrowed the rifle.  More importantly, since his being in possession of the gun is all ready illegal, why haven't the authorities arrested him?

Same reason David Gregory wasn't prosecuted...they're all on the same side.

    From the article:

“OAG has made this determination, despite the clarity of the violation of this important law, because under all of the circumstances here a prosecution would not promote public safety in the District of Columbia nor serve the best interests of the people of the District to whom this office owes its trust.” [emphasis mine]

So if prosecution would not promote public safety, just how can this law be so important?

It's all a big dog and pony show.

Still I'd love to see these guys go to jail.

  3. There should be an equal protection lawsuit somehow. If a liberal douche gets away with it, everybody should.

And since Obama was running guns into Mexico, I think we all should get a little slack.
