All in the Family featured the curmudgeonly Archie Bunker. Archie was television’s most famous grouch, blunt, blustering, straightforward and untouched by the PC crowd. He was the archetype of the conservative male. Michael desprately tried to reeducate him, but he persisted in his breviloquence.

Looking back at the last 40 years, we realize: ARCHIE WAS RIGHT!

Death Penalty?

No word on if it was scotch or bourbon.
GREENSBURG, Pa. – The live-in caretaker of a western Pennsylvania mansion is facing criminal charges for allegedly drinking more than $100,000 worth of the owner's whiskey.

$100,000 worth of booze, talk about an expensive bar tab.

  1. Old Farm whiskey was a pure rye whiskey.

Mr. Saunders obviously took quite a shine to it.

Interesting, I don't know that I've drank rye.

    " I don't know that I've drank rye."

Then you'll probably want to stay away from George Washington's version of it. It's made from the exact same ingredients and distillation process as what ol' George himself used to make, and apparently isn't that good.

  4. Is there a good rye whiskey? I don't think I've ever seen "rye whiskey" as a premium offering on a menu or in a liquor store. Normally when I try a new drink its either from a menu listing or as someone’s guest. I stick to things I’ve liked or that come recommended when buying a bottle for home.
