I worked late last night and drove home before the plows started. It snowed all night and the plows are getting out now. I got up early and started clearing a path for the wife to go into work. As soon as I got enough snow moved to get her out of the driveway, they called her off. So its back to bed for me and a snow day for her.
I know its snowing in most of the rocky mountain west. Last week it got up into the 60's and we got some of the early seeds planted in the garden. Nothing came up yet so I think that will all be fine. I was looking forward to a nice long spring, but we need the moisture. We do need the moisture, and bad. If we get the 24 inches they are calling for, it will be more moisture than we've had in the last 18 months. So let it snow!
Anyone else snowed in today?
No snow day, but it snowing. Could get over a foot with wind 25-40. So maybe tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteno. Going to be near 85 today.
ReplyDeleteI stayed home, but I took my laptop home yesterday so I could work. Thanks, VPN!
ReplyDeleteIts still snowing. we are up to an official 8 in's last I checked. Thats the so called "total". Drifts are 2 to 4ft and 8 in seems to be the least amt on the ground, so who knows.
ReplyDeleteNot a snow day, but I took the day off to get some stuff done at home, anyway. I figured if I had to spend a vacation day working, it would be better spent on a day that I wouldn't be tempted to go outside and slack off.

ReplyDeleteEvil Bastard
We got 2 more ins over night but now the sun is out. I cleared off the cement part of the driveway but thats it.
ReplyDeleteWe got nothin'. A heckuva lot of wind, but very little snow. And what snow did fall immediately got blown to the east from the wind. I didn't need to do any shovelling at all.
ReplyDeleteNate would no doubt be amused to see the damage the high winds did to a local Harley-Davidson dealer.
