All in the Family featured the curmudgeonly Archie Bunker. Archie was television’s most famous grouch, blunt, blustering, straightforward and untouched by the PC crowd. He was the archetype of the conservative male. Michael desprately tried to reeducate him, but he persisted in his breviloquence.

Both Sides of His Mouth

We know Joe Biden is lying, his lips are moving.
(THE HILL) — Vice President Biden said Monday that those who claimed the Obama administration was trying to take away guns from law-abiding citizens were spinning “a bunch of malarkey.”
“I know that’s a word you’ve never heard before, although it’s now in the dictionary,” Biden said at a roundtable discussion with law enforcement officers in Philadelphia. “That’s just simply not true. And to be very blunt with you, we’re counting on all of you, the legitimate news media, to cover these discussions because the truth is that times have changed.”
 To recap: "We aren't going to take away your guns".  "Pay no attention to the man behind the screen". "Make sure you tell everyone that the man behind the screen isn't taking away their guns".  "Times have changed, we won the revolution and its time to punish our enemies."  "Take away the guns so they can't fight back".   "Make sure you keep telling everyone that we aren't taking away their guns, or ammunition or magazines".

    Well, technically he's right -- the Feds aren't doing the gun grab; they're pushing it onto the States to do it, instead.
