All in the Family featured the curmudgeonly Archie Bunker. Archie was television’s most famous grouch, blunt, blustering, straightforward and untouched by the PC crowd. He was the archetype of the conservative male. Michael desprately tried to reeducate him, but he persisted in his breviloquence.

Looking back at the last 40 years, we realize: ARCHIE WAS RIGHT!

Winning

This post isn't going to go into details. I wanted everyone that is aware of what happened in my life this year to know that I am being blessed.  We are still a long way from finished with the situation.  Life is definitely stressful.  God is taking care of me.

I'm not going to put out information publicly so give me a call or email if you want the particulars.  Know that I am very grateful for your friendship and prayers.  Things are working out.

  1. That's good. I don't need particulars. If you are happy that's good news.

  2. Happy might be a bit too far. I'm frazzled, stressed and nerved up. I've been taking a lot of different kinds of hits lately. My life has been like a boxer getting knocked down every round and getting back up just to get hit again.

God's being taking care of me. Today I was granted a little victory.

If I was to apply a worship song to you as your anthem, it would be Chris Tomlin singing "Blessed be Your Name". I dare you to not feel full of hope and good spirits when you listen to that video. You cannot go wrong with music inspired by the Bible.

I am just glad to hear you had a victory Res. After witnessing a dear friend lose her husband this month after a devastating tractor accident which didn't need to happen, I am glad somebody of my acquaintance is having a victory.

I hate careless death, I really do.

Thank you. The aftermath was just such a roller coaster. First we would get told he was in bad shape, then he would have progress. Then another issue would pop up and he would be in bad shape again. The doctors weren't treating him, it was more like they were conducting Whack A Mole on all his medical issues.

As stupid as the whole accident was, I am glad that he is finally free of his misery. Now we just have to help her get through this loss.

He was a tough old chopper pilot from the Vietnam era.

  3. I'm with Giraffe, I don't need the particulars, I'm simply finding peace in the knowledge your situation is good.

I figure I'll get your number at the Wyoming Tactical Rifle Shoot when I make it.

  5. To short notice & conflicting plans won't let me. This is the first year finances would allow me to go. Next year finances won't be an issue either and I'm trying to figure out who's be a good partner for me on my team.

I way I see it, there's a high probability I'll be there next year.
