All in the Family featured the curmudgeonly Archie Bunker. Archie was television’s most famous grouch, blunt, blustering, straightforward and untouched by the PC crowd. He was the archetype of the conservative male. Michael desprately tried to reeducate him, but he persisted in his breviloquence.



Looking back at the last 40 years, we realize: ARCHIE WAS RIGHT!

Res Wanders

Hopefully this will become a semi regular feature. I travel a good deal. I like to take the back roads and two tracks when I can. Sometimes I find cool little places. Like I did today.

I was told this was a nice ride and it was. It was hinted that this is a good place to fish. I’m not sure I’m buying that. I’ve fished it further up stream and it’s so so with smallish cutthroats and brookies. I finally took the fishing rod and gear out of my pick up last month and forgot to put it back in. No fishing today.



It was a good day.
